Heritage Open Days

Celebrate England’s largest festival of history and culture by visiting one of Bridport’s most historic buildings.

This impressive town centre building with an educational and philanthropic based history was constructed in 1835. It has an interesting story covering mechanics, literature, science, and art but has been renovated and repurposed for the needs of today. This open day gives you the opportunity to have a guided tour of the building.

This is a free event run by the Bridport Area Development Trust. No need to book, just pop in from 10am - 1pm on Saturday 16th September.

Find out more about the history of the building here.
